Shares & XP

I have a bunch of shares set up on my drive. They all work fine, but when I add new files to the folder which is shared, the files aren't shared. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I think it might be a reg tweak

How are you putting the new files in there? That makes a difference.

*Moving* a file into a folder will end up with different permissions than *copying* a file into a folder, depending on the file permissions set on the folder the files were copied from.

Thanks for the article.
Usually I will be moving, sometimes however I will be coping, so it varies. I would for what is being copied/moved to inherit it's parents permissions.
