This is completely unfair, I bet I am more qualified, and could dedicate myself to this trip, not some lame ass going instead.

Why can't we pile them all into that capsule and have a sudden "malfunction" that sends their capsule spinning out of control towards the Sun or Venus?

Now that would be a fitting end to those nimrods!
