Well what do you guys think? I'm just gonna be using it for personal use, and It's not finished yet, so anything about it needing more content can be left off.

I noticed that the width of your quick facts table is variable with changes in text size, which causes your face to split. Also, the text on your menu bar is fuzzy. :P

:heh: nice catch coleslaw, I had a heck of a fun time splitting his face with the mouse wheel + ctrl combo :D

Hey Chris, your site looks pretty nice so far though. I like the layout, now you just gotta add the content. Oh, please don't fix the facesplitting phenomenon, I like it.

Looks pretty cool! I like the face looking over the bar thing.

Color scheme is neat.

Needs more colors and the type should be bolder.

i like it.
there are only a few things you might want to look at:
1.) put a bigger text margin around the edge of the cell that has the "about me", "pics", etc info in it.
2.) make a consistently thick top border (like that above the "quick facts" box) across the whole page (instead of making it stop right after your nose)
3.) consider making "Pics", "about me", etc header graphics that match your "quick facts" or "chrisMG187" graphics
4.) you might want to use a black triangle (like that at the right top corner of the "quick facts" box) in the top right corner of the content boxes
these suggestions are just to try to point out ways to make the whole screen look like more of a complete unit, because right now, the content box sticks out and doesn't seem to fit in with the design of the rest of the page (in my opinion).

hrmm, unless you're going to be putting mouseovers on your navigation there, drop the images and use straight text. you'll save download time.

you can also use a nice table cell mouseover effect, similar to what apex does on the front page for reviews and stuff. don't copy their code though, i have cleaner (and valid -- it works in nutscrape 4.x) if you want it ;)
