I got that free quarter deal that was posted here a while ago, but they are sending me other stuff that I don't want, I heard that they would do this to me (after I gave them my address). Anyways, how do i get them to stop, I already sent 2 emails and I still got stuff in the mail.

Sent them a letter (if you really want to be official, you should send it registered) telling them to remove you from any further mailings, and that any further items that you receive from them (after 10 days or so) will be not be returned.
Of course, doing the above (even if it's just a first class letter) will negate the value of the free quarter. Often if you just return enough merchadise (unopened, marked REFUSED, which causes the sender to pay the return postage) they will soon stop sending further stuff to you.

just write REFUSED on the package, and it will be sent back to them?

well I got a response from my email:
Thank you for your e-mail. I cannot cancel your account until we have received back any approval selection merchandise that we have sent to you.
Once you have returned the approvals we will close the account and delete you from our mailing list.
In the meantime I will make a note in the data base to cancel your account upon receipt, but to do so I need your mailing address. That way I don't cancel someone other than yourself.
Thanks,
Mary

Yep. So if you are part of a CD "club" or something (such as BMG) and forget to return the card to cancel the automatic shipment of an item, you can do this. The Post Office rule is that the package must be "unopened". So what I do if I get a package that I'm not sure I want is 1) carefully open the outside envelope (that is usually attached) to see what is in the box, or 2) carefully open one flap of the box so that I can re-glue it if I need to. If it's not something I want, I just close things back up, get a black marker, and write "REFUSED" (and sometimes draw an arrow to the return address on the package). Drop it in a mailbox, the sender gets it back AND has to pay the postage.

Well after emailing them a few times they told me to open the package and then just send thepostage paid enelope back to them, no need to write REFUSED.
All this trouble for a quarter...
