I'm looking at buying a new video card to upgrade my voodoo3. I don't play games that often so I don't want to spend $150-$200. Does someone have any suggestions on what card i should get.

VISIONTEK Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB AGP - OEM
$49 + $7 = $56
Here's the model number: Model#: XTASY 5632
Here's the link (first on the list):

I use this card... DEFINITELY worth the price. you can easily OC the card to 200/333 w/ out even an effort.

Another option is the Radeon VE (32 meg DDR). If you aren't a gamer, then there are a myriad of cards to be had for less than $70-80. They should all do what you want them to. As far as best bang for your buck, I think you might want to go with Heihachi's suggestion--even if you don't oc.

How about the Hercules 3d prophet 4500 II
It's based on the Kyro2 chipset, I have one and I must say it's a kick butt card for the price.
$57 + $10 shipping OEM no TV out
$68 + $10 shipping OEM with TV out

I'd say get the Visisontek GeForce2 listed above, but definately do not spend more on a Kryo2 than a Geforce 2.

I'm not a gamer either and recently I purchased the Radeon 7500 because I wanted a dual display card. Thus far I must say it works just fine. It is a little more than the other suggestions listed above, but dual diaplays was the selling point for me.

Driver support is done by PowerVR.

If you're not gaming go for a radeon 7500 or a matrox g500 those will have better 2d displays. The matrox is aging a little though.

So I bit the bullet and spent some money for the video card. Ended up getting the visiontek xtasy 6564, I figure this card should last me awhile before i decide to get a new one. Does anyone know if I can overclock this card?

What isthe visiontek xtasy model you got?
I dunno what you mean by "will last a long time", I know you don't want the best out - cuz geforce 4 comes out soon, but I don't think many cards can stand the test of time before starting to lose FPS...some geforces can though.

I got a 64MB DDR Radeon 7500 (not made by ATI though) and I'm pretty happy with it! I paid $90 for it but you could get the real ATI 64MB DDR Radeon 7500 from Best Buy (I think from Sunday ad) for $119.99 (after $20 MIR and $10 instant rebate)!

Move the core clock to 200
Move the memory clock to 333
