I am thinking about getting this baby and use it as data back and/or server!

Nice post but give credit to FW, that is where it was posted yesterday...

Both the posted Dell deals rock? People should just be aware that the graphics card is integrated and NOT UPGRADEABLE according to the Dell web site. So you are limited to a relatively weak ATI 4 meg card. (fine for a server which is what this is - but not for a gaming system)

I was hoping that it was BIOS defeateable and then one could plug in a new one but it does not appear so.

If anyone knows any different let us know.

Cheers

if there is an extra pci slot, couldn't you just plug a second video card in and have two? Then just use the pci one? I think win2k and probably XP and linux support duel monitors. I don't know if that will work, just a thought.

I was wondering how this would work for a normal system. My sister is need of a new comp. and is short on cash. Does this come with a soundcard? I have an extra sound card and cdrw laying around that i can pop in it as well. I'm just wondering how the funcionability of a server like this is should it be used as a desktop. Thanks.
