Looking for deal on best CD copier program?

Like the subject says, I am looking for a great full featured program to use for copying CD's. Like us all, I am using the CD-Creator Lite that comes with most burners. I know SoftwareOnly has the CD-Creator V 4.02 for $25 but I want to know if there is anything better out there. I am also looking for a good CD label making program. Maybe the full version of CD-Creator?

If u want a simplistic burning program go for CD Creator. Personally I use both CDRWin and Nero (Nero for music and CDRwin for general burning). They are very reliable.

One word of warning about www.cdrsoft.net (http://www.cdrsoft.net) (make sure you use the .net) is that it is
supported by the industry that shows nekkid
wimmen. Not for the easily offended, however
those looking for ahem "free" software are
no doubt use to this.

And for CD software, nothing is finer than
Nero 5.009. Burns everything including VCD's, SVCD's and automatically converts MP3's into WAV's for audio CD burning. The only time I would use CDRWin is if I happened to stumble across some .bin/.cue files on the 'net.

this one you kind of have to try it out and see what is best for the type of system you have. i have a plextor 8x20 and i have my best luck using cdrwin, adaptec, and nero. i try not to use adaptec as much though since nero has better luck and does not "crash" like adaptec does to me. just try them all. nero and cdrwin has a demo you can try out but you can only burn at like 1x i think.

Here is my 2 cents on burning software

I have ez cd which came with my hp 9110i
it is pretty decent but does not over burn.

I recommend nero -- which is cool for on the fly mp3 to wav conversion/burning.

I also recommend cdr-win which is also very good software.

If you want to make an exact duplicate of a cd, however, I recommend using Clone Cd. This is the best cd copy program on the market hands down. It will even transfer errors from cd to cd. Thus eliminating copy protection on cds.

Burners by the way provide excellent heating during cold winter days/nites when you run them 24 - 7

Some programs have limitations on the type of reader and writer you can use. CDRWIN requires a SCSI reader. And as far as I know, CDCLONE may also have similar limitations. I know that I tried CDCLONE with my Yamaha IDE burner and it did not work. I have heard a lot of gripes with CDCREATOR, but I am not sure if they are justified

I just realized, that limitation that CDRWIN has utilizing SCSI readers is for direcr copying( without going to the hard drive first)

this is an exceptional site for info and, most importantly, FREE CD COPYING SOFTWARE. And I don't mean shareware, if you get my drift. Complete with ripped, and rar'd copies including registration keys. I wanted to copy, er, make a backup of a disc protected w/ securom copy protection, and this site gave all the info AND the software to boot!

Nero is definetly the best for music. However, I think Adaptec 4.0 might be about the same. You can get a 30 day free trial of nero at www.ahead.de (http://www.ahead.de)

Please no one EVER play for this kind of software... its all FREE, like people have said before...when I see Adaptec CD Creator or Nero in the ads for $70 i just laugh...

Hmm... CDRWIN does NOT require a SCSI reader.
