2 of the 3 rebates expired on 2/16/02, and the third expires on 3/16, so if you buy now you only get one $30 rebate. Total price $69 and change.

Bestbuy should have a $20 instant rebate for in-store.

ok,so i buy it online for $86.59 and print out rebate form. Now I go pickup at store and should get $20 off at register? I paid with cc online. Will they know to credit me $20 and can i still use the mail in rebate?
Hopefully this works out to $36.59 a very good deal.

Went to a Best Buy store and they wanted $79.99. Didn't find any instant rebate. :hmm:

picked one up (the 704P model) at the local best buy in san diego tonight (mission valley). the checkout counter printed out a $20 and then a $30 mailin rebate. total $50 off 79.99. good deal. even better deal when i price match it ;)

The instant rebate is $20 which makes the router $79.99. $99.99 is the regular price. Then there are two mail in rebates for $20 and $30.

Just set this thing up the other night. So far it seems to be working perfectly. Now all I need are the rebates to come

went to pick up and they lost my order. Got the new add for $29.99
so i picked up one for house and one for office. works great no problems and simple plug and play setup. $99.95 -$20 instant -$20 mir -$30 mir = $38.xx in cal with tax.

Either that equation's off or you paid about 30% in sales tax ;)

Did you ever have a store NOT charge you sales tax because you were going to be getting a rebate? Equation looks right on the money.

By golly, you've got a point. Still looks like nearly 10% sales tax, which seems high, but I don't live in CA, so I could be wrong. My BB didn't charge sales tax on the $20 instant rebate, so it ended up being just $3.60 extra. My equation:
$79.99 + 3.60 = $83.59 - $20 MIR - $30 MIR = $33.59

WOW, where do you live that you only pay 4.5% tax? He said he was in CA where its 7.something% tax. There's still a gap but not too much.

I live in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where our state tax is indeed 4.5%. We must not be as progressive as California.
