Raite DVD player is back for $169

The deal with this one is that it plays any region code DVD's, plays burned MP3 CD-r's, and you can claim to have a pretty sharp piece of equipment. Buy has them, use a $20 off coupon, and get it for $169. There are lots of places to get the firmware upgrade...hold on a second...

Although its a decent DVD/MP3 Player I think its biggest shortcoming compared to the Apex is the lack of component output. (It only does S-Video) Just to let people know..

eh? I have one of these players and I love it. It has S-video, optical, and RCA outputs.

Oh, yeah, sorry about that, I forgot, no component output...methinks there's something else it doesn't have...oh well, if you want import DVD's, or have more MP3's than your hard drive can handle, then this is a pretty good idea.
