i had 2 orders, 1 for each coupon. the first one shipped. the second one for the celeron 566 still says sent to warehouses. I ordered on saturday afternoon. Probably didnt make the cut for the backorder celerons. Oh well.. I am happy just getting the first order.

None of the coupons work anymore(well, none of the 30 or 50 dollar ones)...and I mean they don't even work with the minimum purchases they are supposed to have (ie. the links are dead).

The 2 coupons in question was the $50 off $500 coupons which did work as $50 off $50. They no longer work, so don't bother trying.

Part of my order shipped today, it was for a zip disk case logic case. I've been checking the feedback on other forums and here's a summary:

1. Buy.com is honoring all orders!
2. Books, music, and misc. items are shipping out today.
3. DVDs will probably ship out tomorrw.

I think Buy.com deserves a tremendous amount of respect from the consumers. They claim that someone hacked the coupons and it wasn't their fault but they still took responsibility by honoring the orders. At the very least, everyone should goto Buy.com first whenever they are looking to buy something.

i made one order, one item has shipping, the other two still say that they sent to warehouse. The zip disk has shipped so far, but i don't even have a zip drive, i just bought to get the total to $50 and since it was clearance, it didn't add shipping. My speakers and subwoofer haven't shipped yet.

Yeah, I received mine today, but it was not what I though I would be getting. Instead of getting gold Acer 80 minute cds, I got some gay blue ones. I guess it was still a good deal as I got 100 for around $20.00. Do you think I should keep them? They were on spindle, so I am not sure if that was such as good price for just plain blue ones?

Well, its good to hear that most people seem to have been lucky to get their orders through (or at least buy.com is very nice), but lets all keep something in mind here. I think that buy.com is an excellent company with exceptional prices. Lets all try and keep greed in check here. Buy.com will be taking a huge hit on all the orders that happened (especially with people placing 3, 4 or even 7 orders). I hope that in the future if somethinglike this happens, people will exercise restraint in their orders. One is fine, two is up to the individuals discression, three might be getting out of hand. I personally wouldn't go over 2. But, just try and tone somethings down. The object is to get good deals, not make companies lose a lot of money. I hope buy.com will not have to raise their prices due to the lost money that incurred. (by the way, no i did not order any thing using the 50 off 50, though i was tempted to try)

The Green Mile, Chasing Amy (Criterion), Demolition Man (I know an old one, but a good one), Eyes Wide Shut, A Jacky Chan flick, and Fight Club.
Total cost with shipping was actually $18.

I recieved my order today, MS Intellimouse and MS Profession Keyboard for a total of $5.85. I wish I took a little more advantage of this but I really didn't think it would work.

Staples should look to Buy.com as an example of internet etiquette.

My order has been shipped. I love just love buy.com. I thought I wasn't going to see my order for a while. It went on backorder yesterday, when I checked today my order was being sent from Illinois. For everyone that hasn't revieved theirs yet, give it some time. It will come. When I checked my credit card from what I can tell righ now they charged me the correct amount.

I always knew that buy.com would honor the coupon. I haven't heard too many complaints about them considering that everyone on this board has ordered something or another. I am amazed how they handle these situations. last week it was the printer this week it's the coupon. I don't know what's going to happen this weekend with free shipping, but if they mess up a little please give them a break they deserve it.

Well, I got my zip disk yesterday. I just checked my order status. The dvds with the zip disk went back into processing. I don't know if this is good or bad cause my other order which was only dvds is still at the warehouse.

I just called Buy.com and questioned them about the status of my DVDs that were put back into processing. CSR told me that all orders for movies placed on the 24th were on hold and that they should ship tomorrow. I suggest if you ordered a movie, call CS and question them about the status. Took me about 5 mins to get through. Let me know what they tell you!!

hmmm, according to anandcrap all orders placed with the 30 or 50 coupons that weren't legit (didn't meet the limits they buy.com meant to use) are going to be cancelled if they haven't been shipped and those who placed the orders will get some sort of GC.

I looked up the thread about the Buy.com orders and there were people whining about the orders being on hold, like they were being jipped! Supposedly Buy.com is still figuring out what they should do with the orders according to the anandcrappers. If you have the time please call CS and post their response here so we can get a good idea of what is gonna happen with the orders.
