I guess Dell figured that they didn't want to offer the rebate any more since too many people were buying $250 servers so according to the call center - effective this morning the $250 rebate was removed and only the double memory offer is valid.
There is however good news out of this:
1) The central Dell system that the sales reps use has NOT been updated so by ordering on the phone they can still apply the rebate.
2) The rebate form as given on their website in DOC / PDF formats still has the $250 rebate for that server model if purchased before 3/13.
Hope this helps someone out.
