it's so funny that you would mention this. just about an hour ago, at lunch, we got discussing these things. it turns out that one of the girls i work with went to college in bethlehem, pa, which is where the peeps factory is :)
anyway, i'm ok with them. but they're not my favorite candy.

I love those! I want to go to the factory! I wish I could eat tons and tons..but I can only have one before my blood sugar zooms from it..so I leave it out to get hardened, then I bite it apart piece by piece. :)

Quite unexpected (and disturbing) results became evident after a little more than one hour of solubility testing.

As can be seen to the right, although the Peep body was dissolved by phenol, the eyes were not. In fact, Peep eyes were insoluble in all the solutions which were tested.

I've never had them! :eek: are they for easter or something? On a side note, when you guys eat candy canes, do you lick them until they are very very sharp and poke your tongue with it? I cut myself doing that once.
