I love that soundtrack too... it's one of the most played CDs I've got.

It drives my wife nuts because she doesn't quite get the magic, and she thinks it's out of character for me, since it's unlike most of the music I listen to, and I dislike country music.

It's fun to confuse her. :P

that was a great movie. i just watched it for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was very good, imo. just judging by the name, it sounded dumb, but i really got into it.
the soundtrack is great too. my gf's dad has it, b/c he's really into that kind of music. he listens to it all the time. good stuff, though.

Ya, that Soggy Bottom Boys song was damn catchy. I knew nothing of the movie when I downloaded it. The I watched and thought was pretty good.

I saw O Brother, Where Art Thou last spring. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I recommend anything by the Coen brothers, starting with Blood Simple. I forgot how great the music was until our PBS station starting showing a special with the Soggy Bottom Boys and others on the soundtrack. I'm buying it this weekend.
