Well I don't know if anyone noticed, but today is 3/14. Pi day!

actually, the math department wrote pi around the building...they started in one place and wrote numbers on the ground that wrapped around the building twice....and they wore shirts that said, i have milk, got pi? and they had a pi party

heh . . . by coincidence, I was watching the movie http://www.megsplace.com/Pi/d.gif last night at midnight! Well, I started it before midnight, but it didn't end until after . . . on 3/14 ;)

Yeah, I think the whole point of Pi is that it doesn't end or repeat (theoretically). What you typed was 22/7 which is an Ok approximation, but not really Pi. Pi is actually the circumference of a circle divided by the diameter of the same circle. 2(pi)r/2r
