Oh look, irony!!!
Ok, see, never point out stupid people with poor sentence structure. It's like pointing out someone is bald while standing naked in the middle of rush hour.

Brew didn't you pull those lillywhite sessions offline yet? Damn..you are so far behind! Get a move on man-this ol lady is way ahead on the DMB GROOVE :) hahaha..do this..get Kazaa or various other such program of your choice. Do a search on DMB lillywhite rare. You should get quite a few.

oh don't worry "ol' lady" i've had them for while, i just want to hear the ways they re-worked them in the studio in January. I buy EVERY Dave Mattews Album and this will be no different.
oh, and cpugeek04, i wouldn;t really call their last album a success. they sold 3 million albums which is good and all, but it wasn't well received by die-hard fans (like myself). They needed to redeem themselves with a truly good album. :)

yeah, i think dave Mathews gave in too much to his producers for his last album (poppy crap with 2 decent songs). How do you expect to get a good upbeat album when your feeling down?

The Lillywhite Sessions has been the best DMB cd I have listened to as of yet. Listener Supported is pretty good as well.

I can truly say that nothing beats the early stuff..Personally I think I am liking the Red Rocks album the best anymore..I used to think Under the Table and Dreaming was better-but I'm really liking the live stuff ALOT.

selling three million albums is a success for the record company, which receives a majority of the $$, and no one else.
it doesn't mean the album was "good" or even "successful" in reaching fans. it means that a well-coordinated publicity campaign and intensive radio play caused a lot of people to go out and buy the album.
unfortunately, it's this attitude from the record companies that forces crap bands on all of us and discounts the value of quality music

I must admit their "Everyday" CD had a different tune to it with the guitars and such that most I have spoken with didnt care for. Cant go wrong with their live recordings on anything.

I have taken a liking to Recently. Even though it's very short, I dig it. Live at Red Rocks gets a lot of play time in my car, too. :thumb:
