View Full Version : GOOD BYE EVERYBODY!! Basic Training starts on Monday.

Hey people. Something's wrong with my browser and I wasn't able to visit Gotapex for about a week. Anyway, I've been spending the last couple months back home in Korea mostly eating, sleeping and Photochopping, and working out. On Monday (3/18) I start basic training for my military service here in Korea. I mentioned this a while back here:

Well, it's finally time. Basic training is 4 months for Air Force officers and I'm pretty sure I won't have the luxury of internet access at boot camp, so I guess I'll be back at gotapex around early August. Don't forget me. I'll miss you guys a lot. Wish me luck.

OMG please tell me you're Korean..It would be a real bitch if the US just started drafting out to other countries! ..anyway..stay safe-and stay away from the brown 'shrooms. Oh, and can I be your pin up girl?

Well, it's monday morning here and I'll be heading off soon. Once again, thanks for all the great combat and survival tips!! :heh: I'll keep them in mind in case an actual war breaks out. But otherwise, I'll see you all again in July. PEACE!!!!

Well have fun during training. I took the smart/lucky way out of the Korean mandatory military service, I became a naturalized citizen of the good old USA.

I know it's probably a little too late for you to answer but where are you going to get trained? Taejon?

I'm stuck here in Korea till June too. Not as bad as having to serve a mandatory military service/sentence. But seems like you'll have fun as an officer in the airforce. Seems the KTUSA didn't pan out for you huh?

Well good luck, try not to get in one of those Korean F-14s that have been crashing recently. :D
