Pretty damn good price. I am not to happy with IBM right now becuase of my 2 45GB 75gxps dieing and them not admitting what is wrong, but I also have one of these 60GB 60Gxp drives (which I heard the 60gxp series was having the same kind or problems as the 75gxp) and it is working like a champ. No problems whatsoever.

Same thing happened to me this week - one of my 2 45GB 75GXP drives went out. Sectors won't repair. Drive won't format. I'm going to be sending in to IBM when I get home tonight (the model number that their utility reports isn't the same one needed to start the warranty process).

Until IBM gets its act together I would recommend going with another brand of hard drive.

Well, here is the reason all of our IBM harddrives are breaking. (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40808)

As I said in another post, I refuse to purchase another IBM drive until they start paying me to use them.

There is a better deal on the Seagate Baracuda IV (80GB) for $139 before a $50 rebate! I'm tempted to get that one even though I have a 40GB IBM!
