Does anyone here have an IBM thinkpad T22? Do you guys know whether it's a USB 2.0 or the previous one? Thanks in advance. :)

A little search seems to say it doesn't have 2.0.

Ok... I've been out of the game for a little while, so please bear with me. If I bought a burner that needs USB 2, I'm assuming that it won't work with USB 1. However, If I bought a burner with USB 1, would it work with USB 2?

While it's true that any USB 1.1 device will work with a USB 2.0-equipped system, most current USB 2.0 devices will lower their speed to accomodate a USB 1.1 system.

In the case of CD-Writers, they typically will drop to 4x4x6 speeds when plugged into a USB 1.1 port.
