I'm really considering buying a northwood P4 and mobo to go with. If you were to buy a motherboard for the P4 right now, which one would you get?
Overclocking is a must, ddr or rambus it doesn't matter.
I just got the Abit TH7II-Raid ($160 at newegg.com). I had some problems with the temperature sensors so I am going to return it but no one else that I am aware of, or have found on the internet, has had this problem. Just my bad luck I guess.
Anyway, people in general seem very happy with this board and it seems to be one of the most common overclocking board for Rambus. (see the forums @ overclockers.com).

I'm really liking the looks of the SIS645DX. DDR333 support, and beats the Rambus in 10 of 16 tests. I'd go with the 1.8A.

chosenfool,
on the msi, how is overclocking done? do you have to use that damn fuzzylogic software, that last time i tried on my cousins computer wouldn't work under win2k? or is it done through bios?
also, how stable has it been for you, and what have your overclocking results been?
also, what heatsink would you recommend?
thanks!
