Look in your washer. Seriously though, I hope you find it soon, and when you do, feel free to buy me something! ;)

edit: I forgot to answer the question. I always leave my wallet in the Jeep, so I know where it is when I go shopping. I have the number memorized for online shopping.

what I hate even more is when I can't find my watch! (LIKE NOW!) It's my prize rolex that I got when I got my first nursing job, and it's been AWOL this week..no one seems to know where it is..I always leave it on the same spot along with my diamond anniversary band when I do the dishes. I forgot to put it back on and the next day I went to get it and it was gone. I almost think I absent mindedly put it in my jeans pocket and if so-it went down the laundry shoot..I should go check the basement...OOOOOO I really need my watch.

misplacing things is my apt mate's favoritest habit, whether it's homework or his car keys. he's lost his nokia 8890 FIVE times in the past year, one of the times at an in-n-out diner. how smart do you have to be to lose a $400 phone at in-n-out?? insurance threatened not to cover his phones anymore since they thought he was faking losing them.

he's also placed many checkbooks in the wash.

i put my wallet in my purse cuz i grab that everytime i step out the door. the only thing that sux about that is that if i wanna use another purse, i'd have to take everything out and put it in the other one.

but since you're a guy and don't carry purses (i hope not at least :P ) i suggest the dresser drawer by your bed. or some drawer by the door of either your bedroom or house. my uncle made a little shelf/key holder that he put up by the front door. works great for him cuz that's where he puts his key and wallet when he comes home.

good luck finding it!

Now, you have to splain that, or we will make stuff up.

Do you, in fact, take on the persona of a drag queen, and not sharing??

I remember one time I thought I had lost my wallet so I cancelled all my credit cards and bank cards (13 cards at the time) and after cancelling the last card, I found my wallet within 10 minutes. I was screwed for 2 weeks since none of the institutions could reactivate the old card.

i bet if your wallet was fatter and displayed a bit more prominently, that problem of finding a woman would be solved...

Never have a problem finding my wallet. It's in the back pocket of my jeans except when I'm actually holding it for some reason. Let's put it this way... I sleep wearing my wallet. :)

Good story:

'Twas my freshman year of college. I went to a party off-campus with some friends and got wasted. We went to the football field and stared at the stars on our backs from the 50 yard line. Then, about an hour later, we did the same in the lawn outside of my residence hall. The next morning, I woke up around noon and began looking for my keys and my wallet because I was going to get something to eat. Alas, they were no where to be found. Panic came over me. I ran to the football field, only to find nothing. I then ran to the lawn outside my dorm and began frantically searching. Finally, after about 5 minutes of looking, I stumbled upon my wallet. It was still there!! Soon afterwards, I found my keys as well! The keychain was a bit corroded because they sat outside in the dew all night, but the keys were in my possession again! I was so surprised that both my keys and my wallet were still there! I could only imagine what could have happened if someone had found them before me! My car could have been stolen, my credit cards maxed out, etc. It turns out that the pants I was wearing that night had very large pockets, which allowed my keys and my wallet to fall out when I was on my back in the grass.

I used to lose my wallet at a rate of once every other month. Had to get those wallets with a chain to keep it from falling out of my pocket. Eventually I became less clumsy and was able to get a NORMAL wallet and not lose it. Now I leave it on my desk every time I come home next to my keys. That way I don't forget them when I go to work. Can't drive without your keys and if I see my wallet next to them I won't forget that either :D

I usually keep my wallet with my keys. At work, my wallet is either in my jacket pocket in the winter or locked in my glovebox. Since I (unfortunately) have my AMEX # memorized, I can shop online without it.
