nearly impossible "NAME THAT SONG" - please help.

i'm trying to identify a song

the ONLY friggen line i remember is: "on a saturday night"

it goes like this: "da da da deee, on a sa-tur-day night."

possibly a Dance/techno beat

the song was in a car commercial in spain, but definitely an american song - the words were in english.

I've been searching for the song for 10 years now (on and off).

If i have to, i can humm two parts of the actual song, but i only remember words for one of the lines.

i'm pretty sure its a male voice... i say that cause when i try to emulate how it sounds, i sing it with a really raspy voice.

ok ok, heres another clue. i think maybe it had an electric guitar solo w/ a little distorsion accompanying just that part of the song, and then it broke out into bigger / more instruments.

if you know about music... think of these notes...

The commas indicate the note being held longer.
