edit: geez, they cut their already beyond-cheap prices by 50%
Hope i'm not missing something completely obvious that would make this a non-hot deal.

for just hosting, not registering domain names, www.brinkster.com is pretty good, 30gb storage, email, and a bunch of other stuff. All this for free with no ad obligations!

though 30GB sounds very sweet, I guess the 30MB they offer will do :P it says hosting for asp and .net. I'm new to the whole web-hosting/creating scene.. so this wouldn't include like mySQL, java, and the other nifty stuff would it?
and the e-mail.. thats only for the premium service i think.

Mine's up, I like their site manager interface, ftp server works, php support, cgi, etc. Not bad for $3 :D
highly recommended, especially with the price, I think they are on the last 1000 accounts so he better get going.

Setup took longer than most other providers (10 days), but the cheap price made it worth it, I think.

^... I'm with slightly stupid
Mine took almost almost 2 weeks, but that was because of the huge influx of new customers. Now they have hired more staff and I think they should be pretty much caught up with orders.

I actually signed up for the #6 plan. I have a couple of sites I'm slowly working on (one personal and one related to network engineering) so this hopefully will help push me to get them done.

heh, xsiled2's suggestion is much better. yours is $5/month. His is $10 year, with more storage and more bandwith transfer per month.
