I'm not really big on Sony laptops, but it's pretty cool.

Get the BIG, clear picture - Ultra-large, bright LCD screens up to an amazing 16.1" high-resolution
UXGA TFT (1600x1400) with dual display support. The 16.1" UXGA TFT screen option offers the same viewing area as most 17" CRT monitors!

i'm sittin here starin at my 17" monitor and sayin to myself "damn thats crazy"..
What I wonder is..
Weight
With 16.1" LCD option:
8.0 lbs.with one battery
8.4 lbs. with battery and optical drive
With 15.0" LCD option:
8.2 lbs.with one battery
8.6 lbs. with battery and optical drive
Why is the 15" heavier than the 16.1"? And thats one heavy sucker.. ow, i can break my back carrying that thing.
