I've been hit on maybe twice..? Both times at the same place, over the course of 6 years. Before I got my car, I used to have to take the bus home from school (during HS). There aren't too many buses that goes up to my house. The one bus that I did take was in the Castro district of San Francisco, otherwise known as the gay district, or the highest concentration of gays in the world. Perhaps they were just being friendly, still pretty freaky!

When some friends would come to chill at my house, they'd try to stick together and pretend they're gay, just so the people around would perceive them as taken, therefore leaving them alone.

a few years ago, i was working in jackson, mi, and i got hit on by this gay guy who worked in a restaurant near my office.

basically, he just stopped me on the street and tried to talk to me and kept telling me that we needed to get together and go out after work or something. i just kind of blew him off, like thought he was just a little over-friendly.

then one of my coworkers informed me that he was gay. now at this point in my life i was a lot less secure in my own sexuality than i am now, so i kind of freaked out (i didn't really know how to take having a member of the same sex hitting on me, partly because i never had MOTOS hitting on me). so then i really tried to avoid him.

he came into my office one more time and was all distraught because the last time he had tried to come and meet me there, i had already left for the night. i just basically ignored him, and he finally left me alone.

i haven't had it recently, but i'm at the point that it wouldn't really make a difference to me or "freak me out". i could just say "thanks but no thanks" and move on.
