Tonight is the start of the playoffs! Finally. Been waitin since January or so. Got front row tix for the entire playoffs. Gonna be great. Lookin like we arent gonna make it out of the second round this year though :(.
Ah well, least I'll get the majority of my playoff money back! (You get a refund on all unplayed games.)

Have fun. :)

Ya know, you are the umpteen millionith person who has said this to me. I had dedcided to keep my mouth shut until now. If you go to a hockey game, you have to realize things like this happen(flying pucks, not death). If you take your childern, you have to be very viglent in warning them and keeping them focused on whats going on for their own safety. If they cant handle themselves, they dont need to be there. Im not saying the girl wasnt paying attention or didnt need to be there, Im just saying it may have been preventable with some common sense. The announcer at the games I go always, always says watch out for flying pucks at least 5-10 times a game. Always at the beginning of every period. It really is just a case of paying attention.
And now, I'll step off my soapbox. (ŠLeon 02)
With that said, I do feel bad for the girl and her family.

WHL (http://www.whl.ca). Part of the CHL (http://www.chl.ca). Basically the Minors for the NHL. A step down from the IHL. 15-20 yr olds. Closest thing I can get to hockey around here, and I enjoy it pretty throughly.

 Uh, I don't think so. Mullets are a Southern redneck thang... much more related to racing or even football than anything else. Hockey is a Canadian sport. Not many mullets in Canada. Yah, there are several teams based in the South, but these teams have pretty much a white-collar fan base. Over all it's a fairly white-collar sport.
"Hockey fans are 50 percent more likely than other adults to be aged 18-34, and 80 percent more likely to have an annual household income of $75,000 or more." Source (http://www.ntaonline.com/www2/PMAs/sports_market/demographics_iii.html)
