Ok, so I was trying to set up my system today, and when I was installing the cpu, the manual told me to remove the film covering the thermal pad. But I didn't see any film. All there was was a pink square and it didn't seem peelable. Can someone tell me if that pink thing was the film? Cuz I don't want to start up the comp and make athlon fry. :(
edit: nm, shogun showed me this pic.

So I guess my shrinkwrapped athlon shipped without film.

I think the blue thing is the film, and the pink part is the thermal interface.
Just peel the blue off, and leave the pink on.
Though if you want better heat transfer, scrape the pink off and use some real stuff, like Arctic Silver.
