i don't know where you live, but you might wanna try www.cheapassfurniture.com. they're in LA so it might cost you to ship, but you can work it out with them. there stuff is supposed to be pretty good, but i've never bought anything from them. their site is pretty funny if you read about how they came into business, so it's worth a look just for that.

I've actually had luck at "Denmarket", a cheapo knockoff that's next to Copenhagen Euro-style furniture. Usually they are right next door.

But then again you need to get goofy-looking Euro Crap, and I don't have much taste...:P

If you are just looking for an entertainment center might I suggest Target or Home Depot.

um...alot of my stuff came from Stickley, but then again, some of it came from grandmother's house and various antique stores..I get stuff from all over the place-I like sales.

all of the furnature in my house is from kmart, walmart, or ValuCity. oh, and i got two chairs at a second-hand store and a chest of drawers from Aldi (word of advice: NEVER buy furnature from Aldi).

i'm in the market for an entertainment center though....trying to decide if i just want to go with a cheap-a$$ sauder setup or try to find something that's real wood that costs a lot more. we'll see...

My dining room table came from a yard sale about 5 years ago (it's sturdy and looks great!), couch was a gift from a friend when he moved, bed came from a discount futon shop (has lasted 4 years so also great quality), and the computer desk was constructed from plywood, blood, sweat, and tears. (Well, okay, the bf's blood & sweat, my tears. :D)

We finally bought an entertainment center to house all of the movies and stuff, so things are starting to look a little less "ghetto." :P

i get most of my stuff from IKEA, but you'll be surprised if you take a look at the stuff at walmart or target. alot of it is crappy, but if you really check out some of their units you'll be sure to find some decent stuff

I got most of my furniture when I was a student, and it almost exlusively came from one of three places, the trash, the junk store, or friends rejects. Before you laugh too hard, it's nice stuff! I can actually afford to buy furniture now and my wife and I still opt to keep the old stuff, it's as nice as alot of high end furniture and definately nicer than Ikea's stuff. My advice, find a nice neighborhood and check out thier trash.

I love Ikea. You couldn't find a TV stand there? Bought my entertainment center there. Maybe Wal-mart or Target. Try Ross for knick-knacks. Bedroom set- antique store. The bf and I are trying to get away from the hodge-podge of his, mine, his parents, my parents stuff. We're getting a full storage unit.

dbax791, I bought non-danish dining room table and living room coffee, end tables at Denmarket. They have decent buys at their warehouse in Phoenix.
