I'm putting together a new system (AMD XP2100+) and I've got two choices for the video. Which way should I go and why? Any assistance is appreciated.

Between the 2, I would choose R7500! I has one (made by PowerColor) and I O/C the darn thing up to 315/245 (core/memory)! If I have to do all over again, I would get the R8500!

Yeah, do yourself a big favor and save 100$ more and get a ti200 or better yet an 8500. If you buy the low end card you will be upgrading in a year, and that sucks bad.

The product code for the Geforce 4MX line is NV17, While the Tis are 25. The 3's however are 20. The higher the NVxx the better of a card it is. That is a simple solution to nVidia's poduct line up.
With that said don't go for a G4MX. I personally like nVidia better, but between those two the R7500 is a better choice.
With such a powerful CPU you should go for a more powerful video card. I think both of those cards will bottle neck your 3D applications. If you are really tight on cash go for the R7500, but I'd try for a G3Ti200 and overclock it to Ti500 speeds or wait for the G4Ti4200.
