the photos of our trip to germany and the netherlands
are in four albums (by city) at www.snapfish.com

cochem is a small town (pop 6900) on the mosel river.

koblenz (pop 100,000) is about 50 km away, at the
confluence of the mosel and rhein rivers.

bamberg (pop 70,000) is a Unesco "world heritage
site," and has 20 breweries and over 200 varieties of
beer.

and we all know how much fun amsterdam is... :P

Ok, workie now. Those are some awesome photos. I really want to go anywere out of the country. I have been into Canada (Niagra Falls area) and I will port in Ensenada during my cruise next week, but I want to go to Europe.

This is one place I would like to go. Germany is where my blood lines go back to (that and Ireland, which I also would love to go) and I really want to see remnants of WWII in Germany and France mostly, but also any other country surrounding them.


The pictures of the St. Michael church are just awesome. Forget these 200 year old buildings we have in the states, I want to see some OLD buildings. ;)

I have a few dupes of your Amsterdam photos - the canal (but from a side view, so you can see the houses teetering and leaning against each other), and a bagpipe player in front of the New Church, methinks (though I doubt it's the same guy, or even the same place :P).

heh... well, the porn in that poster wasn't accidental... but the 3 x's on the posts do make it kinda funny... and maybe that part is accidental...

i didn't see the 3x's but now that you point that out I'm scared and never going anywhere near that place.

Sorry I don't remember the specifics, as he was pointing out other *ahem* interesting sights around the city. I'm sure you also caught them on film, but can't post them without repercussions! ;)

there are a few pics that aren't going in the official show-mom-and-dad album...

the three x's were also on the sleeves of the traditional royal guard uniforms. i'm assuming that's where they came from...
