just thought i'd point that out. bought the pair of pants on the deals page for the resident pants-wearer, and browsed through toys -> vehicles and there's some good stuff. scored a really cool fire truck for evilgremlin's 3rd birthday next year for $15 instead of $55.

hehee... that one is pretty cool. i dunno about the contoller being wireless, tho. that was the big attraction to the one i got him; it has a wire between the truck and the contoller. no way to lose the controller is a VERY important consideration in this funhouse.

heh. speaking of independent... (we'll just pretend this is OT for a moment :dodgy: ) my kid is now into choosing and preparing his own meals. today he walked up to me and demanded "red and bread." i had no idea what he meant. so he goes grubbing thru the fridge til he comes up with a jar of red jelly, and gets me to spread it on bread for him. ungodliest mess you ever did see. the funny part is, he has never eaten jelly before... turns his nose up at it when i offer it to him. but i guess he's decided that if he chose it, it must be good... this follows a meal of crackers and bean dip and chips and salsa. oh, and graham crackers and ketchup. i keep waiting for him to pull out the fish sauce and jalapenos... at least he's finally eating a variety of food instead of a straight diet of ketchup and chicken nuggets...
