And here I was thinking this was going to be about getting time and a half for working on Good Friday. Seriously we should get Good Friday off from school, work etc. I mean, we get a month off for Jesus's birth, but we don't get jack for his death? And if I recall the death and resurrection was more important to the religion than his birth.

i wish i had a day off. ok, i shouldn't complain, b/c i hardly work anyway. but i still like vacation.

i was supposed to be "working from home" today, but i got put on a project (found out at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon) and they wanted me to start today. consequently, i'm at work.

my gf got the day off from school, and there seem to be a lot of other companies taking today off -- there was NO traffic on the drive in this morning.

Well, I'm at work. But it's pointless.

All the regular employees are bailing out like rats from a sinking ship. Since I'm a consultant, I don't have that option. I have to stay here and be available, just in case...

But most of the people who would ever come to me are gone already.

Looks like it's going to be an exciting afternoon of Got|Apex and ebooks on the PDA...

Nope, I get a paid Sunday off. We always get time and a half on Sunday anyways, so getting paid time and a half and be off is sweet. :)

Chillin at my Girlie Girl's house right now, celebrating Cesar Chavez day(Good Friday too). Too bad I still have about an hours worth of work(aww poor me:hehehmm: )

It's the best holiday, imo, because other businesses are still open, and I get to run all of the errands that I've been meaning to do. Don't strain yourself, it takes years of training to be a party animal like me. :P
