I just got the case today and finished moving all my stuff over to the new case! The case is exactly like the Antec SX1030 and I got a black one! The power supply has 420W and has 2 fans (one @ the bottom)! I really like the case but I still need to mod it (round cables, see through screen, and neon lights)! Here are some pics:

that looks like a really nice roomy case, i dont relaly like how the bottom has those lines, the ridges, i like a plain case but the inside is so roomie and would give my computer some good airflow so i think i'll pick one up tomorrow, the same one, it really looks like the antec aka chieftec, maybe its a rebadge cybertec :) well for that price with the ps, thats a great deal, thankx for the pictures :D

Pretty good price if it is the same as the Antec.
Hi Bachviet:
___A few quick questions for you … What kind of 425 PS came with it and what type of fans came with it as well. Also, is the swing out door handle blueberry in color?
___Thanks again

Bachviet:
Does this black case have that NASTY purple side handle?
edit: oops. This question was asked already.

The handle is grayish not purpleish! The PSU brand is Turbolink (no name basicly)! Here is a better pic:

I just ordered one of these cases also.
The power supply is actually a Channel Well oem unit. One merchant actually sells the exact model that is in this case.
This will be a nice long-term testing object. Let's see how this baby performs a year from now :)

hey Bachviet, I'm assuming you got this case from cyberpowerpc.com. Can you do us all a big favor and give us a close up snapshot of the PSU specs that came with this SX1000 antec clone case you bought? It's looking very promising and I think I might get one myself. Just really worried the PSU quality of this. The site even offers this case in three different colors!
Oh yeah, can you also tell us briefly the voltage readout you're getting when using this PSU?
Thanx

Here are some pics of the PSU and voltage reading:

The motherboard is Shuttle AK31A with 4 DIMMS (up to 4GB of DDR RAM total)!

Thanx a bunch for the pictures. I was hoping that the specs would tell us what the TCO was for this PSU. I find the label itself to be strikingly similiar to the Channel Well PSU that comes with the Chieftec case newegg.com sells. Perhaps you might be able to connect a few more components to the PSU and see how the voltages react since I see no other way of really testing whether this PSU is up to par or not (though all the signs of a good quality PSU is there).
And one last thing, what kind of grill is on the back of the PSU? is it the same kind of grill found in the pictures you showed us or is it just some circular metal attached to the PSU?
Thanx
bachviet

It's just the metal grill comes with the PSU bottom fan! Right now I have 1 HD (IBM 40GB), 1 DVD, 1 CD-RW, 4 case fans, two neon lights (automotive ones modded to work with the computer), and 3 other fans (HSF, North bridge, and video card)! I don't know what else I could plug in to test out the PSU but I'll try with another hard drive!

hey guys i just cracked my new black case open this weekend and took apart the psu. took some pics with my new digital camera and found out the viewfinder is a bit off from the lcd, but only after i put it all back together! anyways here's the pics.

i couldn't find any pots to alter the power on any of the lines inside the psu. unless the pots are located on the underside of the circuit board (not likely).
i still don't have the whole computer together and running yet so i suppose i could take the psu back apart if someone has a good reason for it (ie- sees something in the above pics that i don't see).

one quick note... taking the PSU is rather trivial, just unscrew it from the case (4 screws in the back) and then unscrew the top of the PSU from the rest of the unit (4 screws on the top). use a good sharp knife to gently lift the "warranty" tape to keep your warranty, or just slice right through it if you don't care.
i have not plugged mine in and powered it up so i was not concerned about shocking myself, but do use some intelligence and caution when dealing with things like this!!
the clear fans are cool looking and rather wasted inside the PSU. i am thinking of re-opening things up to trade out the fans with some regular black fans from my collection and then use the clear ones in my case itself. so if anyone has a request for other pics or whatever, please make it soon.

So you got the same case huh! I'm pretty happy with the case! I haven't messed with the PSU yet since it's working so I don't want 2 break it.... GOod luck with your case man!
