powershot s300 is more expensive than s330. why is that? is s330 stripped down version of s300? powershot naming scheme boggles me.

checked pricegrabber and s300 is almost 500 while new s330 is around 400. seems like s330 is 2.0 megapixel and not 2.1 like s300. which doesn't seem to make too much sense to me. I understand if screwy DELL forgot to update the prices...but no one else has either. I am just wondering because I bought s330 thinking it was an UPGRADED version of s300..which makes the deal VERY HOT for me. But seems like s330 is a stripped down version with added functionalities to make up for it?? I wish someone can confirm that s330 is indeed the updated(aka BETTER) version of s300...

The S330 is also 2.1 megapixels (2.02 effective megapixels).

I too just purchased one using the Dell deal. Too bad it doesn't ship until 4/15 though.

2.1megapixels is the CCD (internal sensor). Total usable is 2.02, rounded to 2.0 for BOTH CAMERAS.

I ordered one of each, the S200 is shipping in a couple days. curious though, the title has 'S200 PREP' in it and the order page says something about 'Preproduction'. is it not the regular retail version?
