Amazon free shipping Warning

I placed an order for an item at Amazon that said "Free Shipping" The shipping was about $8 but Amazon discounted shipping only $3.99. I called them and they fixed. They did this to me twice in the past few months. They fixed it both times, but I don't like that I have to scrutinize my bills so carefully with Amazon.

At checkout, you should have seen the shipping charge and then a credit... before you checked out, do you recall if you saw the credit?

i've had a few issues recently with them, but they always credit me back within 48 hours. overall, amazon has been awesome and im always scoring some sweet deals with them!

just e-mail them and complain.
they'll give it to you..

I had an order ship separately, even though I said wait and ship it together..

asked them, they said the stuff were coming from diff warehouses, but they gave me some credit anyways.
amazon cs is pretty good.
