She has been sick for years and years (almost as long as I can remember). Nothing like cancer or anything. Just major health problems. I wasn't close to her anymore, so I'm not as upset as I probably should be. I'm more upset for my dad. I could tell he was upset when I heard his message on my machine.
He got to Missouri (where they live) from Oklahoma (where he & my mom live) last night around 8:30. She died around 2:15, so he got to see her before she died. He said she didn't know any of them, but at least he got to see her and all her kids were there with her when she passed away.

my condolances. i will pray for your dad today.
btw, i was going to try to make a funny, but i thought it inappropriate here. i was going to ask if your grandma was the Queen Mother and if you were royalty. but yeah, this isn't the place for that...

Thanks. :)
And you're right, not really the place for it, but funny nonetheless. ;)

Sorry to hear it Jen. My nana is sick as well and we're afraid of how much time she has left. So I feel for you.

My grandma passed away in January, and two friends of mine also recently lost their grandma's too. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'll pray for your grandma, you, and your family.

sorry to hear that, jen. i'll be praying for you and your family.
btw, i know what it's like to not feel as "sad" as you "should" when an older, sick relative dies....i've had the same experience. don't be hard on yourself; just remember the happy times and the love and that's really all that's important.
