Intel has 2 of their 10/100 cards for $49. Pretty sweet deal.

This has been posted and on the deals page before. Only, it seems to be $10 more now.

Ya.. Intels are supossed to be the best. I have never had any because they are expensive..... usually. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I would get these too, but I don't need any. Actually, I do need ONE, but I will probably get another Netgear from Amazon with my gc that I have so it will cost me nothing. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif I'm also getting that Netgear 8-port switch for $130. I have had no problems with Netgear.

If you're going for 'connectivity' instead of 'performance' check out the Encore brand 10/100 PCI NICs at www.computer123.com (http://www.computer123.com) . They use the RealTek8139 ChipSet and work in Linux and Windows95/98/2k Perfectly. I have one in a Win98 box, Win2k box, and a RedHat6.0 box.

Oh yeah, they are $6.49 each. and shipping is ok, but you might want to pick up some CD-Rs from there or something else as well, since shipping costs are usually better the more you buy http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
