Hey peeps I guess this is a hardware question. Forgive me if it belongs in another forum. I have a $25 gift certificate for Amazon.com and I want to purchase a joystick with it. I don't know jack squat about joysticks so I was hoping you gaming fiends could help me out.

Here are the 2 joysticks I am looking at right now:

Gravis G10171B Blackhawk Digital Joystick for Windows (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000K4TP/qid=1017797072/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_6/104-4890758-3931127)

Interact SV244 Cyclone 3D Joystick (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000JDDU/qid=1017797550/sr=1-16/ref=sr_1_16/104-4890758-3931127)

They are both in my price range and I right now I am leaning towards the Gravis. What do you all think? I am open to any other joystick suggestions as well, if they are offered at Amazon and are in my price range.

Thanks :thumb:

I would spring a lil' more for a M$ or Logitech stick. . . they are just that much better imo. But if you must, I'd go for the gravis too.

As much as I despise Microsoft software, I live by their hardware. I have an Intellimouse Explorer, an Intellimouse trackball, a Microsoft Internet keyboard, a Sidewinder controller, a Sidewinder Freestyle controller, and a Sidewinder joystick and I love them all! :)
