Hehe. . . just wanted an actual reliable laptop that didn't have problems. Even my dell lappie had problems here and there. Plus, honestly at least for laptops go, the ibook was a better value then the competition. . .

The ibooks and powerbook ti's are sweet machines. 4.8 and 5.4lbs, respectively, with the dvd/cd-writer AND battery installed.

If there was a pc laptop with the same features/weight with everything internal I would have a laptop, but until then I'll stick with my desktop.

I'd like to have an iBook so's I could put Linux on it.

I did a little work on one a few months back. Not a bad little machine, but I simply can't get used to the Mac OS.
