I clicked refresh a couple of times and I won. Those points are with $500. With so many winners (there are only supposed to be 20 a day), I sincerely doubt anyone but the original 20 will see any points.

For those that aren't finding it, although it doesn't matter cause they're not going to honor it:

Go to alwavista.com, register for their rewards program. Then go to the Rewards Home page. Scroll down till you see the text link that says, "See if you won today." That's where you see if you won. If you didn't, reload a few times and you will. It's obviously a mess up.

however, it will be interesting to see what altavista does decide to do with this.
after all, there are suppose to be 20 legit winners a day and that would be the equivalent of $10,000. so, seeing as about 6,000 people took advantage of the buy.com deal it will probably be the same with this incident and if altavista didn't want to go over there allotted amount that would only be $1.66 per person. so, we shall see...
