Just something pretty sweet and more closer to star trek equipment. . .

this thing is sweet. its been on sony's vaio homepage for a couple of weeks now. since there hasnt been any palm os upgrades, it will still be running on v 4.1. i dont know how sony's business model is structured, they come out with a new model every couple of months which is seems strange to me. i hear that the T415 is soon to be discontinued, but i thought that only came out a shorth while ago. i may just buckle down and pick one of these up unless an palm os 6 handheld comes out soon.

i dunno, it looks really cool, but if it is going to sell as an entertainment hub it should have at least a microdrive on it. up to 256 mb seems paltry for music, pics, and movies.

They are gonna sell for $600. If they had a gig as opposed to 256 mb, i would buy one when the price hit $500. At 256, i wouldnt be able to get $500 use out of it I dont think.

With a pricematch I was able to get the T615C for $225. This is by far the best PDA I've owned. In order for something more than 2x the price to be "worth it," it would have to be able to wipe my butt and cook dinner (not necessarily in that order).

That's really cool, but for $599 I'll pass for now. Palm's going to be using the ARM platform soon enough, which will make the dragonball seem pretty slow.
