View Full Version : Cable Box Descrambler Sofeware ?

I have Vision Tek video card that has a tv tuner built in that I can watch tv from my cable box on my computer. But I heard there are sofeware that you can load on the computer and be able to descramble cable box converter. Has anybody tried this and if so where can it be obtain ? Of course provide that you are aready paiding for the service aready. Thanks for the input.....

...such software is a ROM dump of the code from the actual descramblers. It's pretty old actually, I haven't seen such a thing in more than two years. Anyway, becaues it's (most likely) a ROM dump, it's most likely illegal.

First off. . . this is in a sort of pirating which is not allowed on these forums. But this is for your educational knowledge. NTSC is analog and is difficult to near impossible to descramble perfectly with software. However systems running PAL can descramble through software since PAL is digital. Just a lil' fact knowledge for you.

Do a search for descramblers or cable....there are some old threads on it.
