Lost my monitor colors! Help!!!

I formatted C, installed Windows 98, got everything reloaded EXCEPT the monitor only goes to 14 colors-I tried everything I can think of-can someone help. The little slide bar will not move, and I have only 14 colors. It shows I have the most current driver-Thanks!

What video card do you have? Definitely sounds like the video card needs drivers.

If you can tell us which video card you are using we can help you find the right drivers.

If your video card is built into the motherboard, just tell us which motherboard you are using.
