OEM vs Retail

Oem products only have the manufacturer warranty and not the store waranty right?

usually they have either, just a 30 day thing. if you are lucky it will be supported by the company and maybe, the store.

dell will give ya some period of time, its if not "working" tehn you can get refunded. that shouldnt be a problem

im guesing thats per plater... not sure though, 2mb buffer per perhaps???

it's odd because it's 3 platter therefore 3x2=6mb????
and 20+40+80=140GB

That means the 20GB, 40GB and 80GB hard disk drives have 2mb of cache in them.

The 120GB hdd has 8MB of cache.

Western Digital made a special drive with 8mb of cache....everywhere I've seen it is a really good drive.

1 year warranty from dell, instead of just 30 days when purchased from most stores. It's a deal :)
