crappy selection as usual, and not too many vendors. Bad time for them - its the middle of the month, when people arent paid yet. Nice things is that it isnt busy at all - i can move about and not bump into so many people. this makes browsing so much easier.
what i got:
CAT5e patches (1 7ft, 2 3ft, and 1 50ft for my TV box project)= $9
MS scroll intelimouse 1.1 (maybe the most comfy mouse ive used)= $3
a generic ATX midtower case with 320W PSU = $30.70
1 18" blue and 1 18" red rounded IDE cable = $16
i may get a HDD cooler for $12, or a mobile rack for $16.
entrance was $7 for two days (you bet your ass im going back tomorrow!) :D

18" IDE cable? Seems a bit long?

heh.. is your regular fridge too far? you need us to help you find good deals on a small freezer? hey, maybe you can find some at the computer show.. or heck, why not make your very own computer case out of a freezer.. :)

I like when they have a box full of untested cpus. Buy a celeron 500 for 15$. They work sometimes too.

or LX and BX boards for $10 each, $25 for 3. yep, those untested items are real bargains. :thumb:
also, surplus brand new items, like mice, keyboard, speakers, etc. The mouse i got was only $3, and the table right next to it sells it for $12. you have to give yourself a LOT of time to browse thru all the vendors so you get the best deals.
another nice thing about computer fairs like these is the fact that some vendors just want cash and wont charge any tax, just straight up sale. great for things that dont need warranty, like patch cables, fan grills, male/female connectors, etc. Bigger purchases are best dealt with credit cards (though the price is a little higher than cash, its financially safer that way).

heh.. i used to sell at computer shows.. some people would get really PO'd bout paying more with credit. Though they have those prices listed, you can usually bargain with 'em.. Especially if you're buying a bit of stuff from one vendor.
