Our school seems pretty similar to yours. They dont even inform us of days off or anything like that. Anytime we have threats they act as though it isnt any big deal.

Maybe making a couple of calls to local T.V. stations could do the trick. They are always looking for "fluff" stories about 5 seconds long to segway between major stories. I bet your school would think twice about ignoring the next threat if they were on the news.;)
