so, do you men out there buy pantyhose for your wife/sig other/GF/next door neighbor?

yesterday, my gf was in a hurry getting ready for an induction ceremony (phi beta kappa, yes she's brilliant  ), and she needed new nylons. i was going to the store anyway to buy some groceries, so i was going to pick some up for her. she told me over and over that i didn't have to if i didn't want to, etc.

to me, it wasn't a big deal. she told me the size/color she wanted, and i went and bought them. whatever. it's pantyhose. but when her parents got there and heard about it, they were just shocked and thought it was the nicest, biggest deal thing in the world.

so do other people out there see this as a big deal, or not?

i'd do it, who cares? if you are at the store anyway, then what's the big deal, i'd pick up a box of tampons as well while i'm there

Yeah, I'd do it too... I mean who's gonna care anyway.

Is it just me... or does anyone else see a lot of /'s up there in the poll options?

Well, it really isn’t a big deal, but it is a big deal if you buy the wrong items, then you get the :bonk: beat outta you

But “Xtra” favors for doing so is always a + :D

I guess i'd buy them if my G/F or someone wanted me to but I don't like pantyhose on women, so i'd try to talk them out of it first :P

the tampon purchase for a man would be harder than the pantyhose i would think. who cares what people are thinking anyways? :D
add some dental floss, mallo cups, tp, and condoms and you'll be getting looks from everyone. :D :D ;)

Exactly. I have no problem buying them... but doing it scares the hell out of me, because odds are, I'll grab the wrong thing, or the wrong brand, or the wrong color, or something stupid like that.

Then I'll go home and get the "You should have known better!" speech... despite the fact that I SHOULDN'T have known better... :dodgy:

Luckily, she doesn't ask often. Buying the wrong thing a few times takes care of that. ;)

Got|Viagra?

And I don't see whats the big deal either. So what? Its pantyhose. IMHO, men who won't buy it are just insecure about their manhood. :)

I've been married 17 years, so picking up "feminine things" just doesn't bother me anymore. In fact, if I have to get tampons or something, I'll usually try to find an aisle with a cashier I know, just so I can see how they react. My son's teenage friends usually have the funniest reactions.

No big deal with buying these things. I think it depends on if you wear them or not and how that makes you feel!:passwird:

Shh! Don't talk about the sheep.

He's still hurting over that one. Rejection by a girl is though enough... but a sheep? Poor guy! :P

I have no problem with it either. My GF doesn't wear nylons, so the situation has never come up. She also keeps a good supply of feminine products, so I haven't had buy those either.
