My Eagle Brand 300w power supply just isnt cutting it. I bought myself a Thermaltake Dragon orb and the damn thing requieres a molex connector for the regulation of fan speeds. I'm all out so I've got this 44db screamer. I am looking for the best bang for the buck. I was thinking http://www.ocsystem.com/raid40dualfa.html , does anyone have any comments on that particular part or would rather a better one?

Here are my system specs;
P4 [email protected] (256 Chache)
512 Ram
LiteOn DVD
Acer CD-R
2 Hard Drives
Gainward Geforce 4 Ti4600
2 Case Fans and one random one inside the case

I think thats all that matters, Adding it up I need At least 5 molex connectors, but 7 would be ideal. The motherboard takes one ( http://usa.asus.com/mb/socket478/p4b266-c/overview.htm look bottom right ) hard drives and cd roms make four, the fan speed regulator is five.

Thanks

Can you get a Y-splitter to increase the number of molex connections?

it is possible, but i think that will be too much of a drain on a generic 300 watt power supply

Enermax has always been highly recomended. I have the 431W Whisper. Here is a link (the site is very slow):

Yup, I have the same one speedy and it shall get another vote from me.

To top it all off, you get the gold fan grill and a "Enermax Power Inside" sticker.

I like your icon thing bobo....

I was thinking about an Enermax, but its twice the cost of the other one. Is it worth it? DO you know a cheaper place? I found it for 97 doig a search on pricewatch.com

better power supply gives power more steady than a generic one.less spikes and drops that can damage fragile hardware.
