Is it just me or does that site NOT have the TV I'm looking for.

Hollytron has Sony Wega 36' XBR for just a little below 2,000 before sales tax. However, they have free delievery and I also got a free toaster as a bargain. If you live in So Cal, you may want to check it out. 4th of July is almost here. They may have some special sale. <Shrug>

As far as I remember, this forum was called "Got Deals" not "I need..."

Actually Jeepers, the forum is called "Got Deals?" not "Got Deals". That is a question my friend, BIG difference in what people might infer from the title.

Oh and another thing, don't get your panties all in a bunch! Can't we all just get along?

I apologize I didn't mean to be rude in any way. I'm just frustrated because every website seems to have the tv for 2000 and if any cheaper it's messed up with shipping being jacked up. OH yea by the way.. was that APEX that replied to my post. I worship you man.!!!! hehe

Supreme Video has the Sony KV-36XBR250
for $2099 including shipping not bad considering it is about 250 lbs, make sure you have a good stand for it the Sony stand has special clips to prevent it from tipping over, there are other Wega stands availble as well.

Tau is the only way to go man!

I think we're getting that (or that Fujitsu 44" plasma) after our Super XBR dies.

Are you still in the market for this TV? I've done some looking and asking around here in NY, and it seems they'll be coming out with a newer model than the 250 in a months time (I doubt they know the actual release date from Sony though). The 250 is supposed to drop down to close to $1600. There's a guy in NY already selling it for $1750. If you're in the NYC area, you can buy it from him. But if not, the Wiz in my neighborhod selling it for $1995 until July 4th. If you go to a Wiz around where ever you're at, you can probably get them to match.

www.inetshopping.com (http://www.inetshopping.com) has the Sony KV36XBR250
for $1650. www.pricescan.com (http://www.pricescan.com) has 3 other websites selling it for under $2000.

My friend just bought the 36inch Wega at Circuit City. The sales person hooked him up real nice. They only had one and it was closing time and the 36in Wega they had was still in the box. But the box was open because it was going to be put on display. Apparently the box had been open for a while because they couldn't find space to make a display. Nobody would buy the damn thing because the box was open and it wasn't on display so people couldn't really check it out. Well the sales person spoke to his manager and got my friend an open box price of $1400 and threw in delivery for only $30.
If you are looking for a deal try Circuit City at closing time and look for a "young" person that might be able to hook you up!

If you do want the XBR 400 TV, I can sell you a brand new one in the box with original warranty from an authorized dealer for $1850 tax included and free delivery if you are in the Los Angeles area. However, this is the 32" unit. I don't have the 36" currently. It is still on backorder. Most of the distributors around the area all have nothing.
