I am trying to decide whether or not to get the sxga or uxga monitor on the Inspiron 8100. If I go with the SXGA then I'll stay with the default 16mb geforce video card, if I get the uxga then I can get the 64MB Radeon 7500 which would be a good deal for only $100 more.
I'm assuming that DVD movies will look better on the UXGA, is that definitely the case?
Any other thoughts on this issue? Is the geforce such a train wreck that I should get the uxga, just to be able to get the radeon64MB card (you can't get the radeon unless you get the uxga)?

as long as you don't have problems with small text go for uxga, the resolution in much better.

You might want to take another look at the Dell config page -

Looks like they only offer the 15" UXGA w/the Radeon 64MB now... that might solve the problem for you!
