So what do you all think? Anyone aprove of the update, or just plain hate counter-strike 1.4?

If you don't know yet, 1.4 was released yesterday although on Valve's Steam a while ago. They did change alot, cross hair, jumping, what I always noticed while playing. Add-ons like first person view are very nice, but will everyone enjoy no bunny hopping? Post your thoughts on how Counter-Strike is doing in your opinion.

1.4 Rocks. I'm glad they took out the bunny hopping. It was ridiculous. People were abusing it way too much. The playing field has been leveled once again.

They got rid of the bunny hopping that would make you fly at like 20 times the speed of other people, but you could still hop around and bust people in the head.

well...1.4 seems more 'realistic'...running really makes your crosshairs go all over the place...
i like the new spectator views...pretty cool...

1.4 aint that bad, i just dont like how slow the rounds go now.
The Crosshair thing isnt too much different, ur aim is always off when u run and jump. but when u jump and shoot, they made aiming worse. if u dont want ur crosshairs to keep changing, cause ur too used to 1.3, heres a little trick.
console: cl_dynamiccrosshairs 0 (1 is default)
have fun.

I tried 1.4 after having a long break from CS. I hate it!

Not sure what they did, and non, I wasnt a bunny hopper. I just do not like it anymore. I think it will finally(been on the HD since early BETAs) come off soon. Was GREAT for a long time though. I prolly never played a game more than CS in my lifetime... I salute you CS!

I find that I play Ghost Recon more than anything right now. I think I like the realism and the tension of moving slowly as you never know where people are(we play WITHOUT the threat indicator). Great game.
